Update: Both me and my husband were really bloated afterwards, I especially had to take tums (I am 11 weeks pregnant) probably because of the portion and grease. Portion is big, so I recommend order accordingly.Very friendly service, great food for sure. I am not a big fish and chips fan at all, but really enjoyed their food. Fries were so much better with malted vinegar. Food portion was big and price was reasonable.

The young lady working there is very pleasant and polite. Aways a hello how are you and hope you enjoy and take care.And the battered fish a hand cut fries are greatDare I say better than Reliable.

Impeccable food and service!! It may seem a bit costly at first but it's cheaper than anywhere else and is literally the BEST in Toronto, probably Ontario.

Very nice place! We felt welcomed and taken care of. They have a $9 breakfast from 9 am to 10 am on weekends (if I’m not mistaken), and it’s a great deal! You get 3 eggs with sausage, bacon, potatoes and toast. You can choose how you like your eggs as well. Everything was cooked to perfection. We also tried their tiramisu, and it’s one of the best in the city. Even Italian restaurants don’t get it right every time, but this tiramisu tastes authentic, with coffee dipped lady fingers, and soft, not too sweet, cream. Very satisfied with the experience, and will be back ♥️

Had the pleasure of dining here for the first time. I must say it was the most excellent fish and chips I have eaten.- Fish: Their Norwegian halibut was cooked to golden perfection, with a light and crispy batter that adds a satisfying crunch to every bite. The fish itself was incredibly juicy and flaky, and the portion size was mind-blowingly generous.- Chips: Equally delightful, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They were served piping hot and stayed that way for a long time.- Service, The staff at Winston's were attentive and friendly throughout my visit. The food was served promptly, and the staff ensured that I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal.

Very great patio with a great view of the CN tower depending on where you sit. We went early on a sunny day and were able to seat ourselves anywhere and have a great and easy service - really liked that they didn't rush us to order or close out our tab and the recommendations were strong (get the red sangria pitcher!)Inside has an old armchair theorist feel to it with book shelves, high back chairs and beautiful non traditional seating which I definitely enjoyed and would visit again - unfortunately it had a real strong odor? On the inside when we visited. Luckily for us we spent our visit on the patio and only came in for the washroom but I can't imagine what sitting and eating surrounded by that smell would be lmao would definitely give it another chance and consider the inside

Very nice bar!! Old style which gives it an amazing look and interior design. The bar is big and it’s very nice to sit on the bar. Also the couches are comfortable. Had few drinks and they were really good. Had some bites which also were tasty. I highly recommend to visit that place when in Montreal.

I've been here three times. Once for brunch, and twice for dinner. Dinner has been 50/50, but the brunch was great value, and a great meal.Would definitely go back for brunch (Full English Breakfast Burger on Yorkshire pudding buns, times a million.)
